We here at Bunker’s Paradise and Back9Network would like to wish those who celebrate a very Happy Hanukkah!
Growing up as a child, I was extremely jealous of the kids in my classes who celebrated Christmas. On the last day before holiday break, all we did was listen and sing along to Christmas songs, which was tough for me to sing because I really didn’t know the words! It bothered me because I was the only Jewish person in the class and the only one not singing along. When my teacher saw that I was upset, she did her best to have the class try to sing the “Dreidel” song, but it resulted in complete disaster. Kudos to my teacher for at least giving it a shot.
But now thanks to Adam Sandler, all my Jewish brethren can get together during Hanukkah, spin the dreidel, eat some latkes and sing along with Happy Gilmore’s own “Hanukkah Song”.
