Be Careful Making Fun Of Your Buddy’s Drive

Golf is a social sport, and we think it’s fun to share golf experiences; the good, the bad, and the ugly. Partnering with our friends at gottaGolf (The Ball Tracer & Social Golf App), SxS is proud to bring you “Golf Fails brought to you by gottaGolf,” a weekly reminder that golf is… really hard.

There’s become a trend online that whenever someone finds themselves in an interesting position online, someone in the group pulls out their phone in hopes of capturing gold on their phone’s camera. While there’s a voyeuristic quality to the whole thing, you don’t want to test the karma by adding a literal insult to something that could result in injury.

Golf is a game that has a way of humbling even the best players in the world, so we should all proceed with caution when throwing stones in the glass house of golf. The friend holding the camera in the above video threw all such caution to the wind when he smugly declared, “Sweet drive, dude.”

The friend, unperturbed, was simply trying to extricate his drive when karma nailed the videographer square in the golf balls.
