Car lovers have congregated in Palm Beach, Fla., this week for the Spring 2013 Barrett-Jackson car auction.
The three-day event, running Thursday through Saturday, will offer approximately 400 vehicles up for sale. Among the featured vehicles are:
- A 2009 Ford F-150 truck delivered to former president George W. Bush after he left office
- A 1946 Chrysler Town and Country Roadster — a one-of-a-kind vehicle which the automaker hoped to always build custom
- A 1960 Chevrolet Corvette convertible sporting a 290 hp fuel-injected engine.
In addition to the cars on the block, a 1975 Learjet 35 will be auctioned on April 6. The plane was recently restored with a $2.6 million investment. Medical transport company Angel MedFlight is selling the plane, which can transport passengers or be used for medical purposes.
The Speed network will air live coverage of the auction from 2-8 p.m. ET on Thursday and Friday, with Saturday live coverage from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. and 4-8:30 p.m. ET.
