“Bad Santa” Wreaks Havoc at LET Event

The European Tour is the gold standard in the social media world of professional golf, but the Ladies European Tour put their best foot forward last week at the Omega Dubai Ladies Classic to help get the competitors into the holiday spirit.

Sky Sports had a quick summary of the action

It’s a busy time for Father Christmas as the festive season approaches, but it didn’t stop Santa from causing mischief at the Omega Dubai Ladies Classic.

With Christmas just around the corner and some of the Ladies European Tour’s top players in action at the season finale, Santa popped into the Emirates Golf Club to give the golfers some unwanted gifts.

Ditching the traditional sleigh in favor of a golf buggy, Father Christmas ventured out on the golf course to give some unusual instructions on the tee and try to distract the players as they make their way around the course.

Santa then showed off his own golfing talents, taking on Darren Clarke and Catriona Matthew in a chipping challenge and firing a few drives.
