11-year-old Alexa Pano is already a decorated champion. She’s won 4 of the last 5 U.S. Kids Golf World Championships and is gunning for an absurd 5th title on Saturday at Pinehurst Resort.
She enters the final round with a 5 stroke lead at TEN-UNDER PAR!
This comes on the heels of winning this year’s prestigious Drive, Chip, & Putt championship in the 10-11 years old division held at Augusta National.
What’s even more impressive is her attitude. According to a Central NC TWC News report: “Anytime that I can go out and play golf the right way, and have the right gamesmanship and sportsmanship, that’s a day that I’ve done good on the golf course and that’s the day my dad’s most proud of me,” she said.
This girl is already a winner without the junior titles. Let’s just hope the media doesn’t ruin her before she’s a teenager…
