Pace of Play: USGA’s Hunki Yun Visits Back9Network

USGA Director of Special Projects Hunki Yun spent a day at Back9Network, joining all The Turn, Off Par and The Clubhouse to chat about the USGA’s efforts to improve pace of play across the game. Here’s a look at Yun’s appearances on all three shows:

The Turn
Yun visited with Shane Bacon and Lou Holder of The Turn to break down the actions the USGA has taken to combat pace of play.

Back9Network’s flagship hour of golf, pop culture, debate, and entertainment will be delivered on “The Turn.” Co-hosted by veteran golf writer Shane Bacon, former E! Network Host Erica Bachelor, and Emmy Award-winning sports personality Lou Holder, “The Turn” will tackle the industry’s biggest topics by blending news, analysis and user-generated content with behind-the-scenes perspectives from the game’s most colorful icons and personalities. Shane, Erica, Lou, user-generated content, and social media interaction will guide the conversation.

Tune into “The Turn” airing Monday-Friday at noon, 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. EST on Back9Network — DIRECTV channel 262.

Off Par
Yun “Bellies Up” with Off Par’s Matty Blake to discuss the USGA’s attempt at improving pace of play across the game.

“Off Par,” co-hosted by acclaimed actor and comedian Matty Blake, veteran voice, theatre and television actor Charles Everett, and model Caite Upton is an inventive look at the world of golf and entertainment, with a seriously comedic twist. Matty and Charles, along with Caite and musical director Universo Pereira, will deliver free-flowing laughs in the form of viral internet videos, user-generated social media content, golf-themed skits, and guest appearances by other comedians.

Tune into ‘Off Par‘ airing Monday-Friday at 8 p.m. EST on Back9Network — DIRECTV channel 262.

The Clubhouse
Jeff Rude and Shane Bacon joined Yun for his final stop on The Clubhouse.

Former PGA Tour pro John Maginnes, longtime Golfweek Senior Writer Jeff Rude, and extreme sports champion Will Christien co-host Back9Network’s nightly talk show, The Clubhouse. The playful banter of Maginnes, Rude and Christien will echo the conversations one would hear at the 19th hole. The trio’s no-holds-barred discussions will cover the latest happenings both on and off the course, as they incorporate questions and guidance from viewers at home, celebrities and the game’s professionals.

Making a stop at The Clubhouse gives golf lovers across the country a perfect way to end the day, weeknights at 10 p.m. Eastern.
