One of the leading causes of poor ball striking is a clubface that opens too much in the downswing. There are ways to square up the club that won’t lead to consistency, so we want to avoid those, ie. flipping your wrists.
I want you to think about squaring the clubface by twisting the handle of the club. You’ll notice that my lead wrist is flexing a bit and the knuckles are turning down. This is not only good for squaring the clubface, but also creating a nice shape to your downswing.
