Sure, we all appreciate a 320-yard drive and and well-placed approach shot.
There’s just something about trick shots, though, that get us through the week as we await our next tee time.
And with that, please allow me to introduce to you: Golf Trick Shots: Backyard Edition.
Austrian trick shot brothers Benedikt and Florian Hergan reached out to BACK9NETWORK with their amazing video and we were immediately wowed. Their incredible golf skills, creative use of household items, awesome location and their use of impressive production work make this golf trick shot video one of our favorites.

“My brother came up with the idea of doing a video in spring,” said Benedikt Hergan. “We are both huge fans of ‘Dude Perfect’ and we thought we can do that too.”
The duo picked up golf in 2009 and, although they hail from Austria, Florian spent time in the U.S. as an exchange student in Audubon, Iowa. Interestingly enough, according to Benedikt, short game is the part of their games that needs the most work.
The precision and creativity seen in the video says otherwise.
The shots took anywhere from 15 minutes to two hours to shoot and Benedikt recalls the “blind staircase” shot as the most difficult.
The brothers are also experienced scuba divers and snowboarders and love to follow the PGA and European tours. Bubba Watson and Rickie Fowler are among their favorites but, like most golf fans, the brothers expect a European victory later this month at the Ryder Cup.
So, can we expect more videos from the duo?
“This is our first golf trick shot video, and I think we should definitely do another one,” Benedikt said. “It was really fun doing that, so yes, you can expect more.”
