Hualalai Golf Club – Kailua-Kona, Hawaii
This lava-lined Nicklaus design stretches up to a 7,117 yards and plays to a par-72. Lava areas come into play on every hole are considered to be water hazards. Even with all the lava in play, the fairways still afford generous landing areas. The signature hole is #17 as it was carved out of the lava and features a bunker that runs down the entire side of the fairway. The Champions Tour’s Mitsubishi Electric Championship has called this venue home since 1997. Check it out.
