Nike Golf takes care of their tour staff players. These guys get some of the best equipment, apparel and other items basically whenever they want. For free, at that.
So why should we be surprised that Nike players were presented with a sweet swag bag upon their arrival to Merion Golf Club for the 2013 US Open? That’s right; we shouldn’t be surprised at all.
Back9Network’s own Cheyenne Woods – a Nike Golf professional in her own right – recently got a sneak peek at all the goodies players received in their US Open Gift Bags.
Just to review, in addition to a sweet red, white and blue bag, players also get a personalized Nike Golf rain jacket (complete with an insignia of Merion’s wicker baskets) and personalized Nike Air Force One shoes. Players receive these bags for simply playing in the tournament, so they’ve got that going for them. Which is nice.
