Late Night Online Golf Purchase: Eyeline Golf Putting Mirror

Golfers are gear heads, equipment nerds and endless tinkerers, so when one of those late night infomercials comes on promising instant results after having a few drinks, we listen a little more intently and have a tendency to get a little click-happy online.

It seems like whatever preview coverage you watch before a PGA Tour these days, you always see guys on the practice putting green using some sort of training aid to hone in their stroke. It would only make sense that we hacks try to utilize the best equipment out there to see if we can improve our games on the green as well.

More often than not, the aid you see Rickie Fowler, Rory McIlroy, Justin Thomas, Phil Mickelson and countless others using is the EyeLine Golf Putting Mirror. On every practice green on Tour, you’ll see a little mirror with a cutout for the ball. Depending on the player, they’ll use tees in the strategically placed holes on the mirror to set up reminders of how their stroke should look.

The mirror allows for a blocker to groove the path of your stroke as well as a pair of holes to incorporate the “gate drill” into your practice routine.

After all, even if we’ll never be able to putt like the pros, we can practice like them.
