Golf legend Jack Nicklaus has released his own line of high-quality golf balls according to a recent press release. Manufactured by his Nicklaus golf equipment company, the golf balls are geared toward players on three separate levels corresponding with the tee markers they usually play during a round of golf.
The three versions of the golf ball – Nicklaus White, Nicklaus Blue and Nicklaus Black – were made to match the skill level of amateur and professional players, thus simplifying the choice players are faced with when purchasing golf balls.
“We have simplified this decision for golfers,” said Nicklaus in a recent statement. “All you need to know is the tee you play from to know the ball you should use. Once we know the tee you play from we have a good sense of your club head speed, and we’ve designed each of the three balls to maximize feel and distance for that player.”
Nicknamed the Golden Bear, there is no telling what Nicklaus – an avid hunter – is using to make his new line of golf balls. Hopefully no real bears are being used to construct the balls, because as we all learned from the hit movie Anchorman, bears showcase a very disturbing quality.
