Gearing Up:~Ecco Golf

ORLANDO, Fla. – Ecco Golf is making strides as a leader in the golf shoe industry based on innovations in style and comfort without compromising performance on the course.

The 2013 PGA Merchandise Show set the stage for Ecco Golf to showcase a wide range of new offerings, including the updated Ecco BIOM Hybrid line, now available for ladies. The BIOM line has been available for men since 2012, but now both genders can benefit from the shoe’s lightweight performance.

The new BIOM Zero shoes feature a low-profile, high-comfort design geared toward keeping you grounded on the course with better feel, especially on the putting surface. Each shoe is made from a premium Caldera leather coated with Ecco’s patented Hydromax protectant to keep your feet dry in any weather condition. The shoes are also impressively lightweight, giving you the feeling that you are playing barefoot.

New colors are also available in Ecco’s popular Street series, available for both men and ladies. Remember those stylish white and green Ecco’s Freddy Couples sported during last year’s Masters? You can now own the same shoe and color combination for the first time in regular circulation.

The company’s most innovative offering is the new Ecco Tour Hybrid shoe. Worn by touring pros Graeme McDowell, Stuart Appleby, Thomas Bjorn and others, the Tour Hybrid features Ecco’s comfortable spikeless sole paired with a classic leather design on the shoe’s upper. I particularly enjoyed the brown leather wingtip style.
