Gearing Up: TaylorMade JetSpeed Club Series

Not only has TaylorMade released a new JetSpeed driver series, but they’ve also unveiled a fairway wood and hybrid line bearing the same name.

While the JetSpeed driver features the same Speed Pocket technology found in other irons and fairway woods made by the company, their new fairway woods and hybrids also throw in a low center of gravity and extremely light overall weight in the new design. That combination makes the JetSpeed series one of the lightest, most distance-friendly club series to date.

According to a press release from the company, the new JetSpeed clubs are recording ball speeds upwards of 200-300 RPM, which is insanely fast off a golf club. The aforementioned technology elements make the JetSpeed driver, woods and hybrids the longest clubs TaylorMade has even built.

The driver is available in three lofts – 9.5, 10.5 and 13 degrees – and offers adjustable loft settings. The JetSpeed fairway woods and rescue hybrids are available in a variety of different lofts and will be available nationwide on December 13, 2013.
