When it comes to golf shirts, there are two factors I must have in my playing attire: comfort and style. The newest offerings by Criquet hit both of these areas with flying colors.
Receiving my shirts from the fine folks at Criquet was a pleasant way to start a Saturday morning. Made of 100 percent organic cotton, I was impressed by how lightweight each shirt felt, including the long-sleeved Players shirt. Sized to wear on its own or over another shirt, the Players series is very breathable and comfortable both on and off the course.
Similarly, the short-sleeved Players offering – available in a variety of colors – was light enough to play 18 holes in during the day and was stylish enough to wear out in the evening. The thin striped polo shared the qualities of its solid counterpart. While the sleeves were a bit shorter than I usually prefer in a golf polo, this issue was trivial and did not take away from my overall impression.
Each shirt came pre-packaged with removable collar stays, which are helpful in keeping your shirt collars crisp and sharp even after numerous washings.
