Callaway Golf has never had an issue disrupting the norm in the golf industry.
The original Big Bertha driver was revolutionary and the brand can undoubtedly lay claim to having the game’s first newsroom, among many other advanced achievements.
That list grew a bit bigger today with the official unveiling of the new Chrome Soft golf ball — which Callaway is saying is “the ball that changed the ball.”
In the world of golf, where customization and specialty products rule, flexibility is key. Whether you’re facing an island green or a too-long par-5, you need to know that your equipment is up to the always-changing challenge.
According to Callaway, the Chrome Soft is more than up to that challenge.

It uses the brand’s proprietary SoftFast Core with low compression and a tour-quality Urethane cover. All of that leads to low spin off the tee (distance) and the ability to compress on iron shots (feel).
Callaway’s goal with the new Chrome Soft ball is to help golfers avoid having to choose between feel and distance.
