FootJoy Announces Big Changes for 2014

FootJoy, the leader in the golf shoe industry, has announced significant changes to all four of their top golf shoe lines for 2014. The FJ Icons, DryJoys Tour, FJ Sport and M:Project lines have all been updated, giving the “number one shoe in golf” even more color options and design choices for their players.

In an article on Golf Monthly-UK FootJoy Marketing Manager Russell Lawes said, “Our designers have surpassed themselves yet again by taking these categories to the next level and ultimately catering to the individual swing characteristics and styling tastes of all golfers.”

The M: Project, FJs minimal design style is available now in numerous color patterns, as well as with spikeless options available. The DryJoys Tour model also includes a number of new color patterns and choices and has improved upon their already revolutionary opti-flex zones. Both models are available in either laced, or with the fitting freedom of the BOA system. The FJ Sport line has also added more color options to choose from.

The FJ Icon, the flagship model of the brand and the one trusted by most touring professionals has seen perhaps the most changes from last year. Improvements to breathability and water-proof performance by using top, full-grain leather and calfskin detailing as well as more pattern choices and color options were also a top priority in the upgrade.

“Our designers have surpassed themselves yet again by taking these categories to the next level,” said Lawes. “And ultimately catering to the individual swing characteristics and styling tastes of all golfers.”
