Chrome Soft: Behind The Making Of Callaway Golf’s New Ball

Back9Network’s Shane Bacon will never look at a golf ball the same way again. From start to finish, the process of making a golf ball is a fascinating one and Bacon got an extensive tour of the Callaway Golf Ball Plant in Chicopee, Mass. as production for Callaway Golf’s new Chrome Soft golf ball, moved forward.

The ball will be available to the public Friday, Jan. 16 and, according to Callaway, is meant to eliminate the choice golfers have to make between distance and performance. The ball’s incredibly low compression allows for less dispersion and more fairways hit. The key? Callaway Golf’s SoftFast core.
