Thankfully, many regions of the U.S. are beginning to thaw out from last week’s deep freeze. And with March right around the corner, spring is only weeks away.
But that doesn’t necessarily mean warmth is on its way. Temperatures in the 50s and 60s are still a bit chilly for golf, so staying warm on the course remains an issue.
As such, adidas Golf wants to keep you warm so you can maintain your peak performance, because science proves that when your body is cold, your game takes a dip. It brought in noted “Sport Science” host John Brenkus to show why adidas’ Climawarm+ gear can help.
adidas announced Tuesday the release of its first “adidas Golf Innovations” videos, featuring PGA Tour pro Jason Day.
The company said five more videos are to come – one for each of the six key technologies adidas Golf will unveil this year – and will also feature Dustin Johnson. In each one, the players are put through tests and experiments to simulate conditions pros and amateurs face on the course.
Among the many fascinating “Sport Science” pieces Brenkus has produced for ESPN are some on golf’s biggest stars:
Sport Science: Rory McIlroy
Sport Science: Tiger Woods
Sport Science: Big Hitters
