One of the downfalls of this wonderful game we call golf is that it’s very hard to learn. You remember, don’t you?
Fortunately for those of us that are just starting our love affair with the game, Adams Golf is here with its new Idea Tech Hybrid Iron set. Specifically designed for golfers that have slow swing speeds and want to get the ball up and out — while, of course, having some fun on the course — the unique set features 3, 4 and 5-hybrids, 6 and 7-driving hybrids and 8-PW hybrid irons.
“From the highest lofted iron to the lowest lofted hybrid, each club in the new Idea Tech hybrid iron set is intended to enhance the golfer’s enjoyment of the game,” said Michael Fox, Director of Product Category Management. “This set was specifically made for the golfer who doesn’t generate a lot of speed, but wants to experience the thrill of hitting high and straight launching golf shots. The engineering of this set makes this type of performance attainable for golfers with slower swing speeds.”

The engineers at Adams Golf added a 24-gram external weight to the back of the 3-5 hybrids, which also carry a center of gravity that’s slotted lower and farther back than previous models from the manufacturer. The results? A higher launch, increased spin and more air time for the novice golfer.
There’s also plenty of technology packed into the set as the hybrids feature Adams’ new Ghost Slot technology. The technology takes Adams’ wraparound slot introduced in last year’s set a step further and stretches from the toe across the sole of the club and into the crown. The enhanced design ultimately makes the sweet spot much bigger and guards against off-center hits.
With its goal of making a set providing maximum performance and enjoyment, Adams’ Idea Tech Hybrid Irons set is now available and will retail starting at $799.99 (men’s set) and $899.99 (graphite, senior and women’s).
