As if Bandon Dunes wasn’t already an American golf Mecca, the tucked away Oregon resort is making the destination even better.
Bandon Dunes owner Mike Keiser has commissioned architects Tom Doak and Jim Urbina, the men behind the heralded Old Macdonald course on property, to create a putting course at the resort akin to the Himalayas at St. Andrews.
The three-acre site, dubbed “The Punchbowl,” consists of natural dunes and rugged contours and is located adjacent to the Pacific Dunes clubhouse with views of the Pacific Ocean to the west. You’ll be able to play on it this fall.
