How Does This Even Happen?

Golf is a social sport, and we think it’s fun to share golf experiences; the good, the bad, and the ugly. Partnering with our friends at gottaGolf (The Ball Tracer & Social Golf App), SxS is proud to bring you “Golf Fails brought to you by gottaGolf,” a weekly reminder that golf is… really hard.

Whenever a golfer is standing close to a water hazard, our golfer spidey senses are trained to anticipate a water landing, but this shot is much more eventful than that.

Considering that our protagonist is swinging among a bevy of large rocks, any kind of richochet or injury could be in the offing. However, with this shot, we get a seemingly physics-defying result.

The ball somehow is struck into the embankment and knocked harmlessly towards the face of the golfer. While the ball is floating towards him, the golfer straightens up just enough to watch as his yellow golf ball slides into the opening of his quarter zip.

While there are obvious penalties for hitting yourself with your own ball, we would grant a free drop here out of sheer amazement.
